Connecting a PMS
Apaleo, Mews or Rentlio: stays arrive by themselves, and Kleenee tells the PMS when a room is clean.
Who it is for: Owners and managersIf your property runs on a property management system (PMS), connect it instead of iCal calendars. Stays then come straight from the PMS, and Kleenee reports the room condition back.
Supported systems
| System | Stays in Kleenee | Kleenee reports room condition |
|---|---|---|
| Apaleo | Yes | Yes |
| Mews | Yes | Yes |
| Rentlio | Yes | No, Rentlio doesn’t accept it |
| Test PMS (pretend) | Made-up stays, for trying | Shown on the test page |
Integrations are available on every plan.
Connecting
- Open Integrations and choose the property.
- Choose the System and enter the details your PMS gives you, such as Property code in the PMS and the access keys.
- Save, then press Match rooms by name. Kleenee links rooms with the same name; link the rest by hand under Rooms.
- Press Sync now to fetch the stays at once.
Keys are stored securely and nobody can see them again, not even in Kleenee. When you change the settings, leave the key fields empty to keep them.
How it works
- Every few minutes Kleenee fetches stays and creates, moves or cancels cleanings, just as with calendars.
- A stay that disappears from the PMS or moves to a room that isn’t linked is cancelled.
- When a room becomes Clean, Verified or Dirty, Kleenee tells the PMS (up to five attempts; an error shows on the connection).
- Being cleaned, Awaiting inspection and Out of order aren’t sent.
- Guest names and details are never fetched.
Pause stops the connection for a while; Remove deletes it.
Trying it without a real PMS
Choose Test PMS (pretend), then open Test page. There you add, move, extend and cancel stays, run a sync and watch how the tasks change and what Kleenee told the “PMS”.
