Setting up in four steps
After your first sign-in you enter your business, first property, rooms and a checklist. It takes a few minutes.
Who it is for: Owners and managersWhen you sign in with a new email for the first time, Kleenee guides you through four short steps. You can change everything you enter here later.
1. Your business
Enter Business or property name, your country, App language and your name. The language is only for you; every team member picks their own later.
2. First property
- Property name, type and address.
- Guest check-out time: cleanings after guests leave are due at this time.
- Guest check-in time: used to plan arrivals.
- A manager inspects each room after cleaning: turn this on if a manager checks every room after cleaning. A cleaned room then waits for inspection before it is ready. See Inspecting and approving.
3. Rooms and apartments
In the Unit names field, type your rooms in short form:
| You type | Kleenee creates |
|---|---|
| 101-105 | 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 |
| 101-110, 201-210 | two floors of ten rooms |
| Apartment 1-3 | Apartment 1, Apartment 2, Apartment 3 |
| 01-03 | 01, 02, 03 |
| Lux, Studio | two units with these names |
You can add up to 500 units at once. The floor is worked out from hotel-style numbers (101 is on the first floor, 201 on the second). More in Adding rooms and floors.
4. Cleaning checklist
Choose a starting list: Hotel room or Apartment. It becomes the default for every cleaning; you can change its items later on the Checklists page.
Press Finish setup and the Overview opens. There you’ll find the Getting started list with what is still worth setting up.
