The “Getting started” list
After setup, the overview shows what is left: bookings, your team, the first assignments and notifications.
Who it is for: Owners and managersOn the Overview page, owners and managers see the First steps line: how many steps are done and which one is next, with a Set up button. Show all opens the whole list.
The steps
| Step | Done when |
|---|---|
| Property and rooms | The property has rooms. Check the floors, check-out time and room inspections. |
| Connect your bookings | At least one calendar is connected or there is at least one stay. See Connecting calendars. |
| Invite your staff | Someone has accepted an invitation. While an invitation is waiting, the step says it was sent. |
| Assign the first tasks | At least one task is assigned to someone. |
| Turn on notifications | Notifications are on for one of your devices. |
Once the basics work, the list suggests two more steps if your plan has them: stay-over cleaning and task prices and durations.
How the list knows what is done
Kleenee doesn’t store ticked steps; it looks at your data. As soon as you connect a calendar or assign a task, the step is done, whichever device you used.
Hiding the list
The list disappears by itself once the required steps are done. To hide it earlier, press Skip. It is then hidden for good, on all your devices. If you want it back, write to support and we’ll restore it.
