Taking a room out of order
Take a room out of use during a renovation or a major fault. What happens to its tasks and how to bring it back.
Who it is for: Owners and managersWhen a room isn’t let, press Out of order next to it on the property page. Its status becomes Out of order.
What happens
- Cleanings, stay-over cleans and inspections that haven’t started are cancelled, and so are those sent back.
- Repairs (maintenance tasks) stay, because they are exactly what happens while a room is out of order.
- A cleaning already under way can be finished, but the room stays out of order.
- Kleenee creates no new cleanings for the room, neither from bookings nor when it would turn dirty.
- The front desk can’t record a check-out from it or move a guest into it.
Back in service
Press Back in service. The room becomes Dirty and Kleenee adds a cleaning straight away, so the room is ready before the first guest.
