Pet in the room

Mark a room where a guest has a pet. The label shows on every task and clears itself.

Who it is for: Front desk and managers

When a guest has a pet, the housekeeper needs to know before going in, and the cleaning after departure takes longer.

Marking a room

The front desk and managers mark the room on the Guest requests page, under Pet in room, or on a task page: Guest has a pet.

The Pet label then shows on the room’s tile, in the plan and on every task for the room, and the housekeeper sees the message A pet is staying in this room. on the task.

When it clears

  • By itself, when the cleaning after the guest’s departure is handed in or approved.
  • By hand, with Remove mark.

A stay-over clean doesn’t clear it. When the front desk moves the guest to another room, the label moves with them.
