Extending a stay and changing rooms
A guest stays longer or moves to another room: Kleenee moves the cleanings for you.
Who it is for: Front desk and managersPro plan and aboveBoth are on the Guest requests page. The calendar and PMS don’t undo them later.
Stay extension
- Choose the room the guest is in and the New departure date.
- Press Extend stay.
The new departure must be after the current one, and the room free on those days. The departure cleaning moves to the new day, stay-over cleans for the new days are created at once (if the property has a rule), and the room gets the Extended stay label.
Room move
- Choose From room and To room.
- Press Move guest.
What happens:
- The stay in the old room ends today; if the guest only arrived today, the stay in the old room is cancelled.
- The old room becomes Dirty and gets a cleaning at once.
- A stay is created in the new room from today to the original departure day, with its own cleaning and stay-over cleans.
- The pet label moves to the new room.
- Both rooms show Room move today.
The new room must be free until the departure day and can’t be out of order.
