Priority and urgency

Three priority levels: when Kleenee raises the priority by itself and how the front desk marks urgent work.

Who it is for: Owners and managers

A task has one of three priorities. Staff see the most urgent tasks first in their day, and tasks of the same priority by due time.

PriorityWhen
NormalEveryday work.
PriorityKleenee sets it when a new guest arrives in the room the same day. Guest requests get it straight away.
UrgentSet by a person: a manager or the front desk, including when a guest arrives early.

Automatic priority

Kleenee works out the priority of a booking’s cleaning again whenever the bookings for that room change. If the arrival is cancelled, the cleaning goes back to Normal.

Urgent is always a human decision, and Kleenee never changes it.

The front desk and urgency

On the overview, in the list of today’s unfinished work, the front desk presses Mark urgent or No longer urgent. It is the only change to a task the front desk may make. When a cleaning is marked urgent, the person it is assigned to gets a Urgent cleaning notification.
