Recurring tasks

Deep cleaning, an air-conditioning check, a filter change: a task Kleenee creates by itself every N days.

Who it is for: Owners and managersPro plan and above

For work that comes back regularly, set up a rule once. The page is under Tasks → Recurring tasks.

A new rule

  1. Press New recurring task.
  2. Choose the room, type of work, priority and, if you like, the assignee and a note.
  3. In the Repeat every field, enter the number of days (Weekly is 7, Monthly 30).
  4. Choose the First due and the Due, then Save.

How it works

  • Kleenee creates the task the day before it is due, so staff see it under “Tomorrow”.
  • If several dates went by (for example while the rule was paused), no pile of overdue tasks is created; the next date is counted from today.
  • If the assignee has left the team, the task is created without one.
  • Pause stops the rule for a while, Resume brings it back, Remove deletes it. Tasks already created stay.

The list of rules shows each rule’s next date.
