Room statuses and what changes them

Every room has one of six statuses. Kleenee changes most of them on its own, following what happens with the cleaning.

Who it is for: Everyone

You see a room’s status on its tile in the overview, on the property page and in the plan. The colours are the same everywhere in the app.

StatusMeaning
DirtyThe room needs cleaning.
Being cleanedSomeone has started cleaning it.
Awaiting inspectionThe cleaning was handed in and waits for a manager to check it. Only in properties with room inspections turned on.
CleanThe room has been cleaned.
VerifiedThe room has been cleaned, and a manager checked and approved the cleaning.
Out of orderThe room isn’t let (renovation, a major fault). Kleenee creates no cleanings for it.

A new room starts as Clean.

Clean and Verified

Both mean the room is ready. Verified also tells you that a manager checked the cleaning. If a PMS is connected, Kleenee reports both as clean. See Connecting a PMS.

Room status and guest status

The room status is about cleanliness. Whether a guest is in the room, leaving or arriving is shown by a separate label; see Guest status in a room.
